You might be surprised to learn that the Kaffa region of southwestern Ethiopia (the original source) is where Coffee gets its name. Today Coffee still grows wild in this part of the country and you can see the original and ancient coffee trees still bearing the bean that transformed the drinking habits of the world! The name of our signature DUR coffee reflects its heritage: coffee that grows in the wild.
At DUR Coffee, the beans are hand picked, carefully processed and roasted in the ancient tradition. Every member of DUR Coffee, from the farmer to the roaster is dedicated and passionate about bringing out the “magical” qualities of DUR coffee beans from Ethiopia.
